34 years teaching experience, including High School (Seabury Hall), University of Oregon, Maui Community College (now UH Maui College) and Portland Community College.
Study Abroad Leadership experience includes leading over 15 semester or month-long intensive Spanish language study trips to Mexico, Spain, and Cuba.
Translation experience includes over 30 years translating documents such as birth certificates and transcripts, a dating guidebook, brochures, and legal correspondence between lawyers and clients. Simultaneous interpretation experience includes numerous conventions and meetings, and at public events for such personages as Rigoberta Menchu.

Hobbies:
Her hobbies include singing for Maui Choral Arts, reading and writing poetry, walking and swimming, sipping delicious green tea and gazing at whatever there is to gaze at, one-on-one conversations about life, playing with new recipes, cinema, and just silence.
